Whoa the past few days have been an emotional rollercoaster for me. From the euphoria of Medicamp to the final instalment of Harry Potter. But let's begin from the start shall we? If you thought Medicampers were boring, geeky people you were so wrong. My OG was so damn fun! We were Sombala by the way and we played with integrity and intensity. I'm sure we shocked many other OGs with our move not to steal their prizes even though we had earned that right through the auction. Plus we all had our own little quirks and were forever obsessed with the popular 'fixture' at Changi and a certain phenomenon where the Pectoralis Major were overdeveloped. I was so glad I signed up for this camp cause it turned out to be one of the best ever. Unfortunately I'll never be able to listen to 'Girlfriend' by Avril Lavigne normally ever again. Each time the song is played there will be a mad rush to find partners and the throwing of arms and legs in all sorts of different directions. But of course the camp wouldn't have been a success if not for the OGLs who worked tirelessly and were always willing to give valuable advice even though they barely knew us at the start. Not to mention they must have sacrificed a sizeable portion of their holidays to prepare for this. Just wanted them to know their efforts are being appreciated =) Anyway, the long awaited Book 7 is out! It's highly complicated and emotional especially when you look at the casualties. There was simply too much carnage for me since each character was so special. But at the end of it, the book had a special message which I can relate to. Now all I have to do is read the book again since there were parts where I just gleaned over. the last enemy that shall be destroyed is death |
